FreJun – Deskera CRM Integration Guide

Integration Overview

FreJun offers a streamlined calling experience integrated directly into Deskera CRM. This integration allows users to initiate calls from within Deskera, automatically log call activities, and manage contact records efficiently.

How to Set Up the Integration


 

Step 1: Connect Your Deskera Account

  • Log in to FreJun

    Access your FreJun product with your credentials.

  • Navigate to Integrations

    Go to Settings → Integrations → Deskera.

  • Initiate the Connection

    Click Connect, then follow the OAuth authorization prompts to securely link your Deskera account to FreJun.


 

Step 2: Enable Calling from Deskera

  • Install the FreJun Chrome Extension

    Install the Chrome extension to activate in-CRM calling functionality.

  • Use the Call Button

    FreJun will display a call button beside contact or lead numbers inside Deskera. Click to initiate calls directly from the CRM.


 

Step 3: Call Logging and Syncing

After each call, FreJun will:

  • Create a Call Log

    Log the call automatically in Deskera under the appropriate contact.

  • Capture Call Details, including:

    • Call type (inbound or outbound)
    • Call reason, outcome, and duration
    • Notes and tags (if configured)
    • Shareable call recording link
  • Associate or Create Contacts

    If a matching contact is not found, FreJun can automatically create one (feature must be enabled for your org).


FAQs

To integrate:

  1. Log into your FreJun account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Deskera.
  3. Click Connect and complete the authorization process.
  4. Install the FreJun Chrome Extension to enable calling from Deskera.

Once these steps are completed, your FreJun account will be successfully integrated with Deskera and ready to use.

Call logs appear in:

  • Activities → Call Logs for complete historical data.
  • The Activities tab of individual Contact records.

To view all call logs:

  1. Navigate to the Activities section
  2. Select Calls to see your call history
  3. Filter or search calls as needed

To view call logs for a specific contact:

  1. Open the Contacts module
  2. Select the contact’s profile
  3. View their call history in the Activities tab

FreJun logs the following details:

  • Call direction (inbound or outbound)
  • Call duration and timestamp
  • Call reason, outcome, and tags
  • Recording link (for answered calls)
  • Call logs linked to the relevant contact

Yes. Once you install the FreJun Chrome Extension, a call icon appears next to phone numbers in Deskera’s Contacts module. Simply click this icon to make calls directly from Deskera.

Yes. Once you have connected the integration from FreJun, all calls will be automatically logged in the Activities section of the associated contact record, ensuring a complete communication history.

Yes, but this requires the contact sync feature to be enabled for your organization. Once enabled, all new contacts created in Deskera will automatically sync to your FreJun account. To enable this feature, contact [email protected].

FreJun supports one-way sync from FreJun to Deskera. Data such as call logs, recordings, and notes are pushed to Deskera. Changes made in Deskera do not reflect back in FreJun, except for new contact creation (if contact sync is enabled).

Yes. The extension is required to:

  • Enable click-to-call from within Deskera
  • Trigger the call initiation flow
  • Sync call activity and metadata to Deskera in real time

No, contacts synced from Deskera can only be accessed via the FreJun mobile app, specifically by using the search feature in the call logs section. The synced contacts are not currently available through the web app.
