What our customers say about us
“Our experience with FreJun Teler has been outstanding – stable SIP connectivity, excellent call quality, and developer-friendly APIs that helped us build and scale our AI voice solutions efficiently.”
Yadu Nath
Co-Founder, Vertivox
“We were using Twilio, but it didn’t support Indian numbers for what we needed. We moved to FreJun and built Voizly’s outbound calling on Teler’s SIP trunking – we’re now running up to 15 concurrent calls and about 150,000 calls a month.”
Aniruddh Kukadiya
CEO, Artistry Solutions
“We use Teler to redirect calls straight into our ElevenLabs SIP trunk, so every call to that number continues the conversation there without any extra setup on our side.”
Saif Ali
Head of Engineering, Ajjas
We built a calling agent for our recruitment business on Teler – this is the first time we’re using telephony at all, and we’re already running about 5,000 minutes a month.
Anoop Jain
CEO, gnxt systems
“We switched to FreJun Teler from Vobiz and had it in production within two days – we’re now running about 25,000 calls a month.”
Arpit Soni
Associate Product Manager, Dvara E-Registry
Is FreJun Teler cheaper than Vobiz?
Yes, on calls and on recording. A call costs ₹0.20 a minute on Teler, in and out. On the Vobiz platform, a call costs ₹0.45 for every 30 seconds, so a 60-second call is ₹0.90. That makes Teler 78% cheaper for each call. Recording is ₹0.05 a minute on Teler, half of Vobiz's ₹0.10. Media streaming is ₹0.20 a minute on both, so an AI voice agent costs ₹0.40 a minute on Teler and ₹1.10 on Vobiz, which is 64% less.
What extra costs does Vobiz charge that Teler does not?
Vobiz charges for two separate limits, and each has its own price.
Calls at the same time. Vobiz includes 3. To run more, you buy extra at ₹499 each a month, but Vobiz sells them only in packs of 10. You can't add just 1 or 2, so the smallest purchase is ₹4,990 a month.
New calls started each second (CPS, or calls per second). Vobiz includes 1. To start more, you buy extra at ₹1,299 each a month, but Vobiz sells them only in packs of 3. The smallest purchase is ₹3,897 a month.
Setup fee. Every number has a ₹100 setup fee.
On Teler, the rate card has no charge for calls per second and no setup fee, and there is no 10-channel minimum.
What do I pay on Teler each month?
Each channel costs ₹800 a month. A channel is one live call, so 10 channels let you run 10 calls at the same time. Each phone number costs ₹500 a month. There is no setup fee. Calls cost ₹0.20 a minute, in or out. Recording is optional, at ₹0.05 a minute.
How much would I save with Teler?
Here are two examples. Both assume an AI voice agent on Media Streaming, 60-second outbound calls, one phone number, and Vobiz's lowest-priced number (₹500). With 3 simultaneous calls and 20,000 minutes a month, you pay ₹10,900 on Teler and ₹22,500 on Vobiz, so you keep ₹11,600. With 10 simultaneous calls and 50,000 minutes a month, you pay ₹28,500 on Teler and ₹60,490 on Vobiz, so you keep ₹31,990. Prices exclude GST.
Can I try Teler before I pay?
Yes. Get 25,000 free calling credits on your first upgrade with Teler. The credits don't expire. Vobiz has no free trial.
Which AI platforms and models work with Teler?
Teler is model-agnostic, so you can connect the tools you already use. Ready-made integrations include ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, LiveKit, OpenAI, Gemini, Deepgram, Cartesia, Sarvam, Devnagri, Ultravox, Smallest AI, Bolna, etc. Any other model or platform connects over SIP trunking or Media Streaming. You pay your AI provider directly.
Should I connect my voice agent to Teler over SIP or over a WebSocket?
You can use either. With SIP trunking, a voice AI platform that supports SIP, such as Retell AI, OpenAI, Ultravox, Smallest AI or Bolna, connects to your Teler SIP trunk. With Media Streaming, the live audio of each call goes to your own server over a WebSocket, so your own agent can listen and reply in real time.
Which SDKs does Teler have?
Official SDKs for Python (pip install teler) and Node (npm i @frejun/teler).
What changes when I switch from Vobiz?
If your platform connects over SIP, you change the trunk configuration. If you build your own agent with Media Streaming, your server connects to Teler's WebSocket. Every number needs KYC and KYB first.
