Subject: Product Recall
Product recall is not something that usually happens in Software companies. But today, we have decided to recall (or kill) the first version of our FreJun iOS application
Looking at the metrics, we can conclude that our FreJun app did not reach the usability levels for our users that we want to. In the best interest of our users, killing our product is the right thing to do. I understand it’s not the result we have expected after many months of hard work but it’s the right thing to do.
On the brighter side, it’s a blessing in disguise. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to rebuild the product that would “wow” our customers, and a great learning experience for all of us that we should not miss. I am positive we will bounce back strongly.
